About WCB

Owner, Christopher Neese, is a native of Alamance County and started his early career after high school graduation where he began work as a carpenter for a small commercial builder. After a few years, Christopher wanted to pursue higher education and enrolled at North Carolina State University where he studied Construction Engineering and Management. Upon graduation in December of 2007, Christopher continued his career working as a Project Engineer on the RBC Plaza building in downtown Raleigh. His main role on his three man team was to assist in managing sub-contractors and building materials on five floors for RBC Corporate Offices, the lower level RBC Branch Bank, and three floors for Poyner and Spruill Law Firm. In 2009, Christopher took the step to begin his own company, Wake Crossroads Builders, LLC, to specialize in residential custom homes, homeowner renovations, and small commercial projects.

Since 2009, WCB has built custom homes ranging in size from 1650 to 3400 square feet, throughout Raleigh - in both urban and traditional settings.  Christopher has also continued his relationship with the builder/developer of the condo porrtion of the RBC Plaza on a weekly basis, specializing in homeowner renovations, small commercial projects and common area maintenance.

Christopher married his wonderful wife, Heather, in 2009. They have one son, Hamilton, who was born in August of 2011 and an energetic Golden Retriever named Ellie.  Christopher and his family reside in downtown Raleigh, where they love being able to walk to just about anywhere.
